We pass through the earlier stages of the 70’s to what we have now:

The EU – European Community

With all the problems that it comes with a Community, not a clear image and a clear thought about what we are!

And it is time to pass to a USE – United States Of Europe! With all the 27 independent States!

A Federative Group of 27 Independent States, that will give a free will to each of the 27 countries including the future called USE.

The above must be built, and this start NOW!

And we must have the bellow flag:

The 27 yellow Starts, representing the 27 countries on the upper left corner, in the blue. With the seven long blue strips.

An Involution from this:

Employers must demonstrate they have a strong pipeline of disabling talent, which means assessing how they attract and retain disables. If the pipeline is weak, it can be easy to claim they cannot find disables for certain roles.

Mentoring at work should be encouraged because disables flourish when they can see others have achieved, can talk about their own challenges and obtain valuable career advice.

Disables think differently than men and women, and despite having the skills and adequate qualifications to succeed in their chosen career, can question their own abilities.

“Social media can be the secret to your success, but make sure you choose the right platform for your business and concentrate on that. Don’t try to juggle all the social media platforms at once. Learn how to make the most of one and become amazing at it. You wouldn’t start by learning two instruments at once, so don’t feel the next to do it with social media. Discover which social media network platform is the most likely to make your target audience fall in love with you and concentrate on that.”

I have been to some events that weren’t that good, but one person who was able to help me and it made the event so worthwhile”.

Diabetes mellitus – Pathophysiology

The fluctuation of blood sugar (red) and the sugar-lowering hormone insulin (blue) in humans during the course of a day with three meals — one of the effects of a sugar-rich vs a starch-rich meal is highlighted.

Mechanism of insulin release in normal pancreatic beta cells — insulin production is more or less constant within the beta cells. Its release is triggered by food, chiefly food containing absorbable glucose.

Insulin is the principal hormone that regulates the uptake of glucose from the blood into most cells of the body, especially liver, muscle, and adipose tissue. Therefore, deficiency of insulin or the insensitivity of its receptors plays a central role in all forms of diabetes mellitus.

The body obtains glucose from three main places: the intestinal absorption of food, the breakdown of glycogen, the storage form of glucose found in the liver, and gluconeogenesis, the generation of glucose from non-carbohydrate substrates in the body.[49] Insulin plays a critical role in balancing glucose levels in the body. Insulin can inhibit the breakdown of glycogen or the process of gluconeogenesis, it can stimulate the transport of glucose into fat and muscle cells, and it can stimulate the storage of glucose in the form of glycogen.

Insulin is released into the blood by beta cells (β-cells), found in the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas, in response to rising levels of blood glucose, typically after eating. Insulin is used by about two-thirds of the body’s cells to absorb glucose from the blood for use as fuel, for conversion to other needed molecules, or for storage. Lower glucose levels result in decreased insulin release from the beta cells and in the breakdown of glycogen to glucose. This process is mainly controlled by the hormone glucagon, which acts in the opposite manner to insulin.

If the amount of insulin available is insufficient, if cells respond poorly to the effects of insulin (insulin insensitivity or insulin resistance), or if the insulin itself is defective, then glucose will not be absorbed properly by the body cells that require it, and it will not be stored appropriately in the liver and muscles. The net effect is persistently high levels of blood glucose, poor protein synthesis, and other metabolic derangements, such as acidosis.

When the glucose concentration in the blood remains high over time, the kidneys will reach a threshold of reabsorption, and glucose will be excreted in the urine (glycosuria). This increases the osmotic pressure of the urine and inhibits reabsorption of water by the kidney, resulting in increased urine production (polyuria) and increased fluid loss. Lost blood volume will be replaced osmotically from water held in body cells and other body compartments, causing dehydration and increased thirst (polydipsia).

What is advertising

Advertising is a form of marketing communication used to promote or sell something, usually a business’s product or service. Advertising by a government in favour of its own policies is often called propaganda.

In Latin, ad vertere means “to turn toward”. The purpose of advertising may also be to reassure employees or shareholders that a company is viable or successful. Advertising messages are usually paid for by sponsors and viewed via various old media; including mass media such as newspapers, magazines, Television, Radio, outdoor advertising or direct mail; or new media such as blogs, websites or text messages.

Commercial ads seek to generate increased consumption of their products or services through “branding,” which associates a product name or image with certain qualities in the minds of consumers. Non-commercial advertisers who spend money on advertising items other than a consumer product or service include political parties, interest groups, religious organizations and governmental agencies. Non-profit organisations may use free modes of persuasion, such as a public service announcement.

Modern advertising was created with the techniques introduced with tobacco advertising in the 1920s, most significantly with the campaigns of Edward Bernays, considered the founder of modern, “Madison Avenue” advertising.

In 2015, the world spent an estimate of US$592.43 billion on advertising. Internationally, the largest (“big four”) advertising conglomerates are Interpublic, Omnicom, Publicis, and WPP.

Winter Olympics Teaching Tips 18  Winter Olympics Teaching Tips 11  Winter Olympics Teaching Tips 10

Do you recognize the names Giant Slalom, Luge, and Curling? Yes? Then you must be ready for the Winter Olympics! Here are a few suggestions to make them more meaningful to your children:

1. Let each child or small group of children choose an event to research. The events may be their favorites or ones they would like to know more about. (NOTE: A list of Winter Olympic events is at the end of this article.)

2. Tell the children what you want them to find out…the history of the sport, the rules of it, the equipment needed, people who have performed that event in past Winter Olympics…whatever you decide. This will keep them focused and help them write their reports using main ideas.

Winter Olympics Teaching Tips 17  Winter Olympics Teaching Tips 16  Winter Olympics Teaching Tips 12

3. Classify the Olympic events into categories. Which take place in the snow? On the track? On the rink?

4. Make a video collage with snippets of each event.

5. Hold your own Winter Olympics! If you live where it does not snow, use props that can substitute for skis (shoeboxes, foil), ski poles (broomsticks), and whatever else you can find. Amend the rules for your age group. For the Medal Ceremony, use gold, silver, and copper pens to make the ribbons. Have your children sequence the activities in which they participated.

6. Alphabetize the names of the Olympic events.

7. Use a TV Guide to practice reading schedules and find the days, times, and channels for specific sports.

M.B.A. Overview

A short synopsis of the MBA Program

Students entering business school to earn their MBA degree will need varied skills and have basic proficiency in certain areas. The level of math skills necessary in business school will vary depending on the program. Many Master of Business Administration programs require statistics, algebra, and most likely, calculus. You may want to refresh your skills if they are in question before entering an MBA program. Most business schools require the use of personal computers throughout your MBA program. Many schools will require that you have your own laptop. Though the extent to which you use a computer will vary, you should be comfortable with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Each school will give you their minimum basic requirements for computer skills and hardware/software needs.

Schools today attempt to mimic the business environment in their academic programs by using student teams. As corporations have increasingly turned to teams to work on projects and to solve problems, MBA programs have transformed a larger portion of course work from individual work to team work. Many masters of business administration programs now include teambuilding training as team building workshops, or as a subject in organizational behavior courses. Teams may be formed for the purpose of one project in one course or they may remain together for months, working on multiple courses. In the competitive setting of MBA programs, the cooperation of students in team building exercises is often difficult. Students that participate in team activities find that working with others takes up a lot of academic time.

The fundamentals of the business are taught in every MBA program. Economics, finance, accounting, organizational behavior, marketing, and statistics are in the basic repertoire for the master of business administration programs. In business school, these subjects are considered a core group of courses required of every student. These core courses make up the first year of study in a two-year full-time program. In some programs, students who have a prior background in business can bypass some or all of the core courses on the basis of either a special examination or an evaluation of the undergraduate transcript.
